Meet Daisy Dove, Katy Perry & Orlando Bloom’s Scene Stealer
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s daughter, Daisy, made her first public appearance at Saturday’s finale of the pop star’s “Play” Las Vegas residency.
Despite keeping the little one out of the spotlight since her August 2020 arrival, Perry introduced the 3-year-old onscreen during the show.
“Daisy! I love you so much,” the singer, 39, gushed from the stage. “You’re my best friend,” the Grammy nominee continued. “I’m so glad you’re here.”
The toddler, who was dressed in a Minnie Mouse outfit with pink headphones over her ears, waved at the camera and smiled wide before her mom performed “Hot n Cold.”
After praising Bloom, 46, for being an “incredible support system,” the songwriter explained how she created the residency after welcoming Daisy in August 2020.
“When I met her, it was like all the love I was ever searching for finally showed up,” Perry recalled. “She made me whole, and she healed me, and she showed me how to play again.
“So this show is for everyone’s inner child and for the hope that maybe if we could all see life through the eyes of a child, we would be free,” she continued.
At the end of her performance, Perry and Bloom made their way to XS Nightclub inside Wynn Las Vegas where they partied until about 3:00 a.m.
