Sabria's new song "Taste"

Sabrina Carpenter Teases “Taste” With Jenna Ortega

We’re now one day closer to the release of Sabrina Carpenter’s new single from “Short N’ Sweet”, her sixth full-length studio album, and Sabrina is teasing us with her teaser for “Taste”, which arrives simultaneously on Friday, August 23rd.

In her newly released teaser, Sabrina teased the accompanying Dave Meyers-directed video with a snippet revealing Jenna Ortega as Carpenter’s co-star. In it, Carpenter selects a knife from a bed full of weapons before charging toward a shower occupied by Ortega and a man. The screen cuts to black when Carpenter goes to stab Ortega, and then Carpenter uses a knife as a mirror to fix her lipstick while singing, “Oh, I leave quite an impression.”

Carpenter’s fans immediately drew parallels between Carpenter’s “Taste” video snippet and the 1992 Oscar-winning film Death Becomes Her, which starred Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn, and Bruce Willis.

Regardless, it’s a nice, nostalgic Disney reunion between Carpenter and Ortega, who spent their formative years on Girls Meets World on Stuck In The Middle, respectively, before becoming bona fide A-listers.

I Can Do It With A Broken heart

Taylor Swift Reveals ERAS TOUR Secrets in New Video PACKED With Behind The Scenes Footage

In a sweeping move to close out the European Leg of her ERAS TOUR, Taylor Swift dropped her highly anticipated video for “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart” surprising fans and adding to the tracks released from The Tortured Poets Department.

For the end of her five-night London stint, Tuesday night was full of surprises. Swift brought out Florence Welch to perform a brand-new routine to "Florida!!!" and invited her friend Jack Antonoff to perform a mashup of "Death By a Thousand Cuts" and "Getaway Car."

When the singer wrapped "Karma," her dancers enveloped her in a big, group hug. She then walked to the diamond platform and disappeared into the stage. As the lights came on in Wembley Stadium, the new video showing a ton of behind-the-scenes footage of the tour played. The clip features the star in rehearsals for her massive, record-breaking tour, as well as performing and having fun on stage while her fans sing along. She's also seen backstage with her dancers and crew, showing just how much work went into the tour.

The Tuesday night surprises followed her epic Thursday night surprise set with Ed Sheeran, who joined her on stage to perform “Everything Has Changed”, as Swifties gasped and cheered. No introduction was needed for this crowd; Sheeran's reputation precedes him. He burst into another duet, "End Game" from "Reputation."

The light-up wristbands switched to bright green and fans thought the double mashup duet was a perfect gift. They absentmindedly expected "End Game" to be the final song until Sheeran dove into his love song "Thinking Out Loud."

Now that Taylor has concluded the European chapter of her tour, she has left her mark on cities like Milan, Amsterdam, and Dublin. The Eras Tour allowed fans worldwide to experience every phase of her career, from Fearless to her most recent work.

Taylor is set to return to the stage for her next stop in Miami, Florida, on October 18 at the Hard Rock Stadium.

Lady Gaga + Bruno Mars
Die With A Smile

Lady Gaga’s New Collaboration With Bruno Mars Released

In June, Bruno Mars reportedly shared, “I’d love to do [a song] with Lady Gaga. I’ve got to at least sing with her, on her [Las Vegas residency].” Fast forward to NOW with the release of their new song collaboration called “Die With A Smile.

"Bruno and I have a lot of mutual respect for each other and were talking about collaborating," Gaga said in a press release. "I was finishing up my own album in Malibu and one night after a long day he asked me to come to his studio to hear something he was working on. It was around midnight when I got there and I was blown away when I heard what he had started making. We stayed up all night and finished writing and recording the song. Bruno's talent is beyond explanation. His musicianship and vision is next level. There's no one like him."

Mars added, "Getting to work with Gaga has been an honor. She's an icon and she makes this song magical. I'm so excited for everyone to hear it."

The dynamic couple performed the lively ballad live at Bruno’s headlining 2-night appearance at the opening of Inglewood’s new INTUIT DOME which will begin hosting the Clippers in October.

Gaga will next be seen alongside Joaquin Phoenix in in the upcoming Joker: Folie À Deux, which will feature her singing, though she teased recently it will be "unlike anything I've done before."

Shawn Mendes - Why Why Why
Shawn Is Back!

Shawn Mendes' ‘Why Why Why' Will Leave You Smiling

Shawn Mendes has officially made his way back to music with the release of "Why Why Why," the first song release from his upcoming album, Shawn, slated for release on Oct. 18. The project is the star's fifth studio album and follows 2020's Wonder as well as his previous self-titled project, 2018's Shawn Mendes.

Last month, Mendes shared a message for fans about the project, writing "Music really can be medicine. 2 years ago I felt like I had absolutely no idea who I was. A year ago I couldn't step into a studio without falling into complete panic. So to be here right now with 12 beautiful finished songs feels like such a gift."

"I stepped off the stage with nothing left/ All the lights were f-ing with my head," the singer-songwriter admits on "Why Why Why," a highly compelling piece of folk-pop that finds him vulnerable to the point of sounding haunted, two years removed from cancelling a tour due to mental health purposes.

Setting the stage for the release, Shawn performed an intimate show at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London, previewing his new album to a room full of dedicated fans. Despite his previous struggles, he seemed relaxed on stage, surrounded by a close-knit band of musicians, who gathered in a semi-circle around him to sing harmonies.

Fans showed their support with constant screams of "we love you". And when Mendes sang the lyric "If I call tonight will you pick up", during the song In Between, one audience member responded with an emphatic, "YES!"

He ended the show with a cover of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah, which he played on a harmonium - an instrument that he said had helped him "fall back in love" with singing during his year in the wilderness.

As the song drew to a close, Mendes talked about the hours he had spent alone, playing the harmonium and "free singing", just to feel the joy of making music without the pressure of writing hits.

“I think the process of working through your sh*t and starting to heal, there’s certainly these moments of feeling like you’re past something, and then there’s moments where it all catches up with you, and you feel like you’re not past a single thing. It’s kind of this cyclical nature. Something I learned in therapy that’s helped me so much is not everything has to have an end-line period solution or end-line period reason. It’s just like, it is. It’s acknowledging it. […] This is also what it’s like to be human.”
